April 10, 2009We Have A Winner!

This week’s submissions were slow to come, but as the week got on, some real gems emerged…thanks to everyone who participated!  Results are as follows:

In THIRD Place, we have B M Double U’s “Auto industry factory worker makes failed US economic allegory.” — HAHAHA…I liked this one a lot.

In SECOND Place, we have Senor Paul’s “Wrong car, bitch.” — On an aside, my grandmother really got a kick out of this one when I was showing her the site last night.

And the WINNER is…

aramdavid, mostly for his incredibly thoughtful attention to detail, with:

“The sequel to Pixar’s “Cars” turns dark and receives an NC-17 rating due, in large part, to a raunchy car sex scene where Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson, and upgraded to a BMW 5 series after a lucrative product placement deal) cheats on his girlfriend Rhoda (voiced by Amy Irving) with an unnamed Nissan Maxima he meets on Hollywood Boulevard (voiced by Isla Fisher).”

This week, Honorable Mentions go to:

Juliet & Kate: “That’s the last time I test drive a Maserati…”

Laura: “This reminds me of the song “before he cheats” except instead of a key, she used spray paint”

and Germine: “The caption is on the car”

Thank for your submissions.  Check back for a BRAND NEW caption-worthy photograph next Tuesday.
